Celebrating and recognising the rights of working poor women - group commitment
Through a series of discursive workshops, in all seven states in India involving all SEWA members, Every Human Has Rights came to life for the women and adolescent girls who dedicated themselves to a resolution committing to the goals of the Universal Declaration. SEWA meetings throughout India used International Women’s Day to celebrate and recognize the rights and freedoms of all human beings – especially working poor women.

EHHR in Argentina - OAJNU takes action

Standing up for the rights of older people - group commitment
In addition to thousands of people around the world standing up for the rights of older people as part of Help Age International's work, 1,500 people have signed on online pledge standing up for the rights of older people: declaring their believe "that everyone, without distinction, is entitled to the rights and freedoms of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including the right to social security (Article 22). Every human has rights."

Every Human Has Rights in Perth, Australia

Five young leaders from the Edmund Rice Leadership Centre in Perth, Australia, helped organize and host an event to share the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with their community; and each member of the group brought their personal connection to the cause.

While traveling the world in search of creative ways to express those connections a few years back, Brenda Ray discovered the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. By combining her trade and her recent discovery with the human voice, she thought she could express our common humanity while raising awareness about human rights - and World Voices Project was born.
