Celebrating and recognising the rights of working poor women - group commitment
Through a series of discursive workshops, in all seven states in India involving all SEWA members, Every Human Has Rights came to life for the women and adolescent girls who dedicated themselves to a resolution committing to the goals of the Universal Declaration. SEWA meetings throughout India used International Women’s Day to celebrate and recognize the rights and freedoms of all human beings – especially working poor women.

EHHR in Argentina - OAJNU takes action

Juan Martín Carballo and his fellow OAJNU colleagues are part of a group of active young people in Argentina who wanted to mark the importance of the human rights in the Universal Declaration's 60th year by joining their efforts with a global network of people standing up for human rights.


Age Demands Action - HelpAge International

Standing up for the rights of older people - group commitment
In addition to thousands of people around the world standing up for the rights of older people as part of Help Age International's work, 1,500 people have signed on online pledge standing up for the rights of older people: declaring their believe "that everyone, without distinction, is entitled to the rights and freedoms of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including the right to social security (Article 22). Every human has rights."
