For those of you living in the New York region of the United States, our partners at Realizing Rights invite you to join them for evening of conversation on 'Hope for Human Rights in an Era of New Leadership' at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, November 24th, 2008.
Mary Robinson will join Larry Cox, Executive Director of Amnesty International USA; Samuel Kofi Woods, Labor Minister of Liberia, Dr. Blanche Wiesen Cook, Acclaimed Author and Eleanor Roosevelt Scholar, and distinguished members of the international human rights, media and entertainment community.
The event marks the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and includes the New York Premiere of Amnesty’s global music video The Price of Silence, produced by Link TV, followed by a special musical performance.
